The extension uses your own API key, which keeps your data in your own account and costs nothing at commuting volumes on the free tiers.
Get an API key
Create a key with TomTom, Mapbox or Google Maps. Pick one below.
Paste it in Settings
Open the extension’s settings, paste the key, press Test, then choose your main service and an optional fallback.
Add your routes
Give each one a label like Work → Home, set Point A and Point B, and save. Use lat,lng for TomTom and Mapbox.
